Refund policy
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason. This page explains how. It does not limit any rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
14-day right of withdrawal
The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, received the goods. If one order is delivered in several parcels, the period runs from receipt of the last parcel.
To withdraw, send us a clear statement of your decision by email to shop@glassverde.com or by post to the address below, including your order number. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this page, but it is not obligatory. Sending your statement before the 14-day period ends is enough to meet the deadline.
Opening and inspecting the product
You may open the parcel and handle the product as you would in a shop, to check its nature, characteristics and functioning. Opening the packaging does not affect your right of withdrawal. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary for that purpose, for example if the product has been used.
How to send the product back
- Tell us: email shop@glassverde.com with your order number.
- Pack it securely: glass is fragile. Where possible, reuse the original packaging (kraft-paper wrapping, paper filling and both boxes) and return the complete set, including the certificate of authenticity if one was included.
- Send it: return the goods to the address below without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you told us about your withdrawal. We recommend a tracked service.

Costs and refund
You pay the direct cost of returning the goods to us.
We will refund all payments received from you for the returned goods, including the original standard delivery charge, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your withdrawal statement. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or you have supplied proof of having sent them, whichever is earlier. We refund using the same payment method you used for the original purchase, unless you expressly agree otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.
Damaged or faulty items
If an item arrives damaged or faulty, please do not use the withdrawal process above. Email shop@glassverde.com with photos of the packaging and the item, and we will arrange a replacement or, where a replacement is not possible, a full refund. Your statutory rights for lack of conformity apply in addition to this policy. Slight variations in shape, size, colour and air bubbles are a natural feature of hand-formed glass and are not a defect.
Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised.
